For my second course in the MBA program, I am taking BUSA 505 The Business Environment.

  • Organizations of every size utilize core business functions and concepts such as marketing, human resources, accounting, financial management, economics, information systems, and operations management. Managers must understand these functional areas and the relationships between them in order to competently lead their team within the organization. This foundational course in the MBA program provides this necessary context and sets the stage for students to delve deeper into these concepts throughout their program.

Not as bad of a week as last week. This course is easy since I AM an Accountant and business major. The case study on chapter 6 sucked and I just couldn’t get the answer right after two tries. It was about being a manager of a business and directing your employees. Terminology constantly changes so maybe that’s why I failed…

  • For the case activities I received: chapter 6…2/4 | 50%, chapter 7…3/3 | 100%.
  • For the chapter assignments I received: chapter 6…24/25 | 96%, chapter 7…24/25 | 96%.
  • For the chapter quizzes I received: chapter 6…13/15 | 86.67%, chapter 7…13/15 | 86.67%.
